TaskTrackr Platform Service Terms

1. General Provisions
Welcome to TaskTrackr ("the Platform"). By registering an account and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The Platform provides a pet care community and mutual assistance service, connecting pet owners ("Owners") with verified pet care helpers ("Helpers").

2. Account Registration & Real-Name Verification
2.1 Account Requirements
- Users must provide a valid email address and, when required, a verified phone number.
- Each individual may register only one account. Account sharing or transfer is prohibited.
- Users are responsible for all activities under their account.
2.2 Helper Verification (Service Provider Identity)
In accordance with the E-Commerce Law of the PRC and Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Online Trading, all Helpers must complete real-name verification before providing services:
- Required information: Real name, national ID number, phone number, emergency contact, and photos with their own pets.
- Identity verification: Name and ID number are verified against the national public security database via a third-party verification service.
- Ongoing compliance: Verification must be renewed every 6 months. Helpers with expired verification will be suspended until re-verified.
- Accuracy: Providing false or fraudulent identity information will result in immediate and permanent account termination.
2.3 Pet Owner Compliance
- Owners must complete a Pet Compliance Profile before requesting help services.
- Required pet information includes: rabies vaccination status, dog license/registration status, pet size, temperament assessment, and muzzle requirement.
- Owners are legally responsible for ensuring their pets comply with local animal regulations (see Section 7).
3. Service Rules
3.1 Service Types
The Platform facilitates the following pet care services: dog walking, pet feeding, pet sitting, grooming, training, and veterinary visit accompaniment.
3.2 Service Process
- Owner submits a help request specifying service type, location, and notes.
- Helper reviews the request (including pet compliance profile and owner rating) and decides whether to accept.
- Upon acceptance, both parties communicate via the in-app chat.
- Helper completes the service and may upload photos/videos as proof.
- Both parties rate each other after service completion.
3.3 Helper Obligations
- Provide services with reasonable care and in good faith.
- Treat all animals humanely and responsibly.
- Report any incidents, injuries, or emergencies immediately via in-app chat and by contacting the Owner.
- Not share Owner's personal information (home address, phone number) with third parties.
- Upload service documentation (photos) when requested.
3.4 Owner Obligations
- Provide accurate and complete pet information, especially regarding health, temperament, and special needs.
- Ensure pets are up-to-date on vaccinations and properly registered as required by local law.
- Provide necessary supplies (leash, muzzle if required, food, keys/access).
- Be responsive to Helper communications during the service session.
4. Rating System & Quality Control
4.1 Two-Way Rating
- After each completed session, Helpers rate the pet's behavior and Owners rate the Helper's service quality.
- Ratings are confidential — users cannot see the specific ratings given by others.
- Ratings are used internally for quality control and safety purposes only.
4.2 Automatic Restrictions
The Platform implements automatic safety measures based on cumulative ratings:
- Pet owners whose pets receive consistently low ratings (average ≤ 2.0 from 3+ reviews) may be automatically restricted from requesting services.
- Restricted users will be notified and may appeal to the Platform administrator.
5. Complaint & Reporting Mechanism
In accordance with the Provisions on the Administration of Internet User Account Names and Information, the Platform maintains a complaint and reporting system:
- Users may report safety concerns, fraud, animal abuse, no-shows, harassment, or other issues via the in-app report button.
- All reports are reviewed by Platform administrators within 24 hours.
- Substantiated reports may result in warnings, temporary suspension, permanent ban, or referral to law enforcement.
- The Platform will cooperate with law enforcement agencies when required.
6. Privacy & Data Protection
The Platform processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law of the PRC. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
Key principles:
- Lawfulness & necessity: We only collect data necessary for providing the service.
- Separate consent: Sensitive data (ID photos, home location, biometric data) requires separate, explicit authorization before collection.
- Data minimization: Personal data is shared only on a need-to-know basis during active service sessions.
- Retention: Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 3 years in compliance with e-commerce regulations. Personal data is deleted upon account closure, subject to legal retention requirements.
7. Animal Welfare & Regulatory Compliance
In accordance with the Animal Epidemic Prevention Law of the PRC and local regulations:
- All dogs must be vaccinated against rabies and registered with local authorities.
- Dogs must be leashed and wear identification tags when outdoors.
- Pets assessed as aggressive or with bite history must wear a muzzle during helper sessions.
- The Platform requires Owners to declare vaccination status, license status, and temperament. Providing false declarations may result in account termination and legal liability.
- Helpers have the right to decline any request where pet compliance information is incomplete or concerning.
8. Liability & Disclaimers
- The Platform acts as an intermediary connecting Owners and Helpers. The Platform does not directly provide pet care services.
- Helpers are independent service providers, not employees of the Platform.
- The Platform is not liable for injuries, property damage, or pet loss arising from service sessions, except where caused by Platform negligence.
- Both parties are encouraged to communicate clearly about pet needs, risks, and expectations before and during service.
- In case of disputes, parties should first attempt resolution through in-app communication. Unresolved disputes may be escalated via the complaint system.
9. Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on the Platform:
- Animal abuse, neglect, or any form of cruelty.
- Providing false identity or pet information.
- Harassment, threats, or intimidation of other users.
- Attempting to circumvent Platform safety measures or rating systems.
- Using the Platform for any illegal purpose.
- Sharing other users' personal data without authorization.
- Commercial solicitation or advertising not authorized by the Platform.
10. Termination
- Users may delete their account at any time, subject to completion of any active service sessions.
- The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
- Upon termination, the Platform will retain transaction records as required by law (minimum 3 years) and delete personal data within 30 days, unless retention is legally required.
11. Amendments
The Platform may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent People's Court at the location of the Platform operator.
